Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet Thread, 100% mercerized cotton, 350yd (320 m), size 10. Golden Yellow - 1 ball (GY),

Hook: 1.75mm

Gauge: 12 dc = 2" (5 cm)

Directions

Top is worked as one piece from bottom to top, with shoulder seams.

With GY chain 91,
Row 1: chain 3, counts for the first dc, 90 dc
Row 2: turn, chain 3, 90 dc
Row 3: turn, chain 3, 89 dc
Row 4: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch3, 87 dc.
Row 5: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch3, 85 dc.
Row 6: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch3, 83 dc.
Row 7: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch3, 81 dc.
Row 8: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch3, 79 dc.

You now have 80 sts.

Count 21 sts, place a marker. Count 5 sts, place a marker. Count 28 sts, place a marker. Count 5 sts, place a marker.

Right Front
Row 1: work one slip stitch in the first st, ch 3, 19 dc to the first marker.
Row 2: turn, ch3, 18 dc
Row 3: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch 3, 17 dc
Row 4: turn, ch 3, 16 dc.
Row 5: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch 3, 15 dc
Row 6: turn, ch 3, 14 dc
Row 7: turn, work one slip stitch in the first st, ch 3, 13 dc
Row 8: turn, ch 3, 12 dc

Repeat rows 1-2 to desired length. Tie off.

Work on row od sc along the fronts and neckline.

Finish the arm holes with 6 rows of sc.
