Hello - this is a fabulous sweater! I wear a size 2 (32" bust) and am 5'6". How can I make this pattern smaller?

Knit it on a larger size needle, the yarn should allow for this. Maybe go up one or two sizes. Knitting a swatch and comparing will show you how much larger the change in needle size will make. Good luck!
