Size: 10/12 (40/42)

Materials:Dalegarn Svale 50% cotton, 40% viscose, 10% silk sport weight yarn 114 yds (104 m) / 50 gr, color 5736 blue - 10 skeins.
Needles: 6 (4.0 mm) and 4 (3.5 mm) and circular 4 (3.5 mm) 60 cm (24") OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Gauge: 14 st = 4"(10 cm)

Patterns:

Lace:
Multiple of 4
Row 1: *yo, k2tog-b (knit 2 sts togather insering the needle into the back loops of the stitches), k2tog, yo*, repeat from * to *.
Row 2 and all even rows: purl, if in the previous row there was double yarn over, purl the first and knit the second yarn over.
Row 3: as row 1.
Row 5: *k2tog, yo, yo, k2tog-b*, repeat from * to *.
Row 7: as row 5.
repeat rows 1-8.

Stocking Stitch
1 row and all odd rows - knit sts
2 row and all even rows - purl sts

Band with picot edge
Rows 1-6: stocking stitch, if knitting in rounds - all knit.
Row 7 - eyelet row: 1k, *k2tog (knit 2 sts together), yo*, repeat from * to *.
Row 8: purl, if knitting in rounds - knit.
Rows 9-14: stocking stitch, if knitting in rounds - all knit.

Back
Cast on 86 sts (including edge stitches) on 6 (4.0 mm) needles.
Change needles to 4 (3.5 mm) needles and knit lace for 54 cm (21"). Cast off.

Front
Front is knitted the same as back.

Hood
Cast on 38 sts (including edge stitches) on 6 (4.0 mm) needles.
Change needles to 4 (3.5 mm) needles and knit lace for 75 cm (30"). Cast off.

Finishing:
Join shoulder seams. Join side seems leaving 24 cm (9.5") for the armholes open.
Pick up 92 sts on circular needles along the neckline and knit Band with picot edge in rounds. Cast off.
Pick up 144 sts along the long edge of the hood and knit Band with picot edge back and forth. Cast off.
Pick up 168 sts on circular needles along the bottom and knit Band with picot edge in rounds. Cast off.
Pick up 82 sts on circular needles along the armholes and knit Band with picot edge in rounds. Cast off.
Fold the picot bands and sew with invisible stitch.
Join the back seem of the hood. Sew on the hood along the neckline (see picture below).
