Free Doll Shrug Knitting Pattern

Skills Required/Techniques Used:

-Knit, purl, cast on & bind off

Materials: Lion Brand (affiliate link) Fun Fur 100% Polyester yarn, color white, 64 yards (59 meters) / 50 gr - 1 skein.

Notions: yarn needle

Abbreviations:

K – knit

P – purl

St, sts – stitch, stitches

co – cast

sl - slip

Needles: US #9 (5.5 mm)

Pattern Notes:

Garter Stitch: all rows knit

The selvedge/edge stitches are worked as follows: slip the first stitch knitwise and purl the last one.

Directions

Cast on 10 sts, leave a 10" tail.

Row 1: sl1, k8, p1.

Repeat row 1 until the working piece is 15" (38 cm) long. Bind off. Leave a 10" tail.
To form sleeves, fold the strip lengthwise. Using the yarn tails, sew the sides together for 3" (7.5 cm) from each end.
