Free Cowl Knitting Pattern

Finished size: about 6" (15 cm) high and 20" (50 cm) circumference length

Needles: circular US4 (3.5 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Gauge: 1 pattern repeat (10 sts) = 1 3/4" (4.5 cm)

Notions: cable needle, stitch marker, yarn needle

With MC cast on 120 sts, join and continue to work in rounds, take care not to twist stitshes. Place a marker at the beginning of the round. Slip masker whike working.

Rounds 1-3: *k1, p1 - repeat from * around.

Round 3 (MC): knit
Round 4 (MC): *p6, k4 - repeat from * 12 times
Round 5 (CC): *k6, sl4 wyib - repeat from * 12 times
Round 6 (CC): *p6, sl4 wyib - repeat from * 12 times
Round 7 (MC): knit
Round 8 (MC): *p6, k4 - repeat from * 12 times
Round 9 (CC): like round 5
Round 10 (CC): like round 6
Round 11 (MC): *k6, c4f - rep from * 12 times
