Selvedge stitches
The 1st and last stitch of the pattern are selvedge stitches. To make the edges of your work even and smooth 2 more stitches (selvedge stitches) are added. You should always slip the first stitch as if to knit and purl the last stitch. The selvedge stitches are not counted in the pattern unless otherwise specified.

With yarn A cast on 203 sts (20 pattern repeats plus 1 plus 2 selvedge stitches).
Work Double Pennant pattern for 222 rows. Bind off.
Yarn A (Harvest Gold): rows 1-48
Yarn B (White) – rows 49-90
Yarn C (Green) – rows 91-132
Yarn B (White) – rows 133-174
Yarn A (Harvest Gold) – 175-222.
If you would like to change the width of the stripes, I recommend to start the new color in row 7 or row 21 of the pattern.
Finishing
With yarn A work applied I-cord around the perimeter of the blanket. Graft the ends of the applied I-cord.
