Needles: US #8 (5.0 mm) circular needles 40” long.

Gauge: 16 sts x 32 rows = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) in garter st.

Abbreviations:
k - knit
sl wyib – slip st with yarn in back
sl wyif – slip st with yarn in front
DC – dark color
LC – light color
RS - right side
WS - wrong side


Pattern Notes:

Garter st in rows: all rows knit

Chain Selvedge: the selvedge/edge stitches are worked as follows: slip the first stitch purlwise and knit the last one.
