Two-Color Brioche Stitch in rounds

Two-Color Garter Stitch in rounds

Please note that since the garter stitches are worked alongside the brioche stripes, each round consists of 2 and, similar to brioche rounds is worked first in DC, then in LC.

Round 1 (LC): purl.
Round 1 (DC): knit.

Chain Selvedge

When working the selvedge stitches at the beginning and the end of the row, at the start of the LC rows, always bring LC under the DC.

Short Overview of the pattern

The wrist warmers are worked in a combination of 2-color brioche and 2-color garter stitch. The mitts are worked from the pointy edge in brioche for 8 rows. Then more stitches are cast on and the mitts are worked in rounds, in a combination of 2-color brioche and 2-color garter stitch. The mitts are shaped with several increases in the garter stitch section.
