Repeat row 16 8 (9, 10, 11, 12, 12, 12) times. Don’t cut the yarn.

Divide for bodice and sleeves

Before division, you have at the bottom of the yoke 47 (51, 57, 65, 69, 73, 79) shells.

Place markers between shells to mark fronts, sleeves and back, as follows:

Left front: 7 (8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12) shells, place marker
Left sleeve: 9 (10, 11, 13, 13, 14, 15) shells, place marker
Back: 15 (15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25) shells, place marker
Right Sleeve: 9 (10, 11, 13, 13, 14, 15) shells, place marker
Right Front: 7 (8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12) shells, place marker

Attach a new ball of yarn to the ch-1-sp before the 1st shell of the back. Work 3 rows back and forth along the back shells ONLY as follows:

Ch3, (shell in the next shell, ch 1) repeat to the last shell of the back shells, shell in the last shell, 1 dc in the ch-1-sp after the last shell of the back shells. Turn.

Work 2 more rows like a row above. Cut yarn.

Return to the left front (beginning of the row). Row count starts from 1 after the division for bodice and sleeves.

Row 1: ch 3, (shell in next shell, ch 1) repeat 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11) times, shell in next shell, chain 20 (20, 25, 25, 25, 30, 30), skip 9 (10, 11, 13, 13, 14, 15) shells (left sleeve), (shell in next shell, ch 1) repeat 14 (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24) times, shell in next shell, chain 20 (20, 25, 25, 25, 30, 30), skip 9 (10, 11, 13, 13, 14, 15) shells (right sleeve), (shell in next shell, ch 1) repeat 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11) times, shell in last shell, 1 dc in the top of ch-3.

Row 2: ch 3, (shell in next shell, ch 1) repeat 46 (50, 56, 64, 68, 72, 78) times, shell in the last shell, 1 dc in the top of ch-3.

Repeat row 2 sixteen more times.

Row 19: ch 3, (shell in next shell, ch 7, skip 1 shell) repeat 23 (25, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38) times, shell in last shell, 1 dc in the top of ch-3.

Row 20: ch 3, (shell in next shell, ch 7 over ch-7-space) repeat 23 (25, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38) times, shell in last shell, 1 dc in the top of ch-3.

Rows 21-22: like row 20.

Row 23: ch 3, (shell in next shell, ch 8) repeat 23 (25, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38) times, shell in last shell, in the top of ch-3.

Rows 24-26: like row 23

Row 27: ch 3, (shell in next shell, ch 9) repeat 23 (25, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38) times, shell in last shell, 1 dc in the top of ch-3.

Rows 28-30: like row 27.

Row 31: ch 3, (shell in next shell, ch 10) repeat 23 (25, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38) times, shell in last shell, 1 dc in the top of ch-3.

Rows 32-34: like 31. Tie off.

Increasing the amount of chains between the shells will give you slightly A-shape look. If you don’t want it, you can stop at ch 8. Anyway, it would be a good idea to try it on after ch 8.

Sleeves

Attach a ball of yarn at the beginning of the underarm chain at the front side. Work (shell into next shell, ch 1) along the sleeve section of the yoke, work 2 (shell, ch 1) along the edge of 3 rows of shells on the back, work 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) (shell, ch 1) over the underarm chain, connect to the 1st shell with a slip stitch and continue to work in the round: (shell in the next shell, ch1) around, join with sl.st.

Work 10 more rounds. Or to desired length. Cut off.

Finishing

Work 3 rows of sc along the right front, neckline and left front. To make buttonholes, in the 2nd row work (ch 2, skip 2 sc) on equal distances. In the 3rd row work 2 sc over the ch-2.
Weave in all yarn ends.

Block. Sew on buttons.

Have fun!
