Free Shawl Knitting Pattern
This is a triangular shawl that is knitted from the bottom point of the "triangle" upwards. The advantage of this is that you can make the shawl any size you like: just stop adding rows when you feel it's done. The main part of the shawl is garter st.
The simple garter stitch body of the shawl is complemented with the lace border. Though it might look a little intricate, it's actually quite simple to knit. However, as with any lace project, attention to detail is important.
To go along with the written pattern, I also put together a diagram for those who prefer a visual guide. You can either open it up on a computer screen or tablet, or print it out on several sheets and tape them together.
