Striped Garter Stitch Scarf with Knitted Fringe. Free Scarf Knitting Pattern
This scarf is called the Pipe Dream Scarf because I knitted it to match the Pipe Dream Hat. However, it actually doesn't use the same technique. That just doesn't work for a double-side item like a scarf. Instead, the scarf uses garter stitch.
The scarf is worked sideways, which means the finished length is established right away. For interest, it features a fringe, knitted as-you-go.
