Free Doll Blanket Crochet Pattern
This cute blanket features floral pattern. It is crocheted with one main color. Alternating rows of the flowers are crocheted with contrasting colors. It is great for using up leftover yarn!
Skills Required/Techniques Used:
- Basic crochet stitches: chain (ch), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), half double crochet (hdc), slip stitch (sl.st)
- 2 double crochet cluster (2dc-cl)
Measurements: Length: 21" (52 cm). Width: 18" (45 cm)
Materials: Lily (affiliate link) Sugar'n Cream Solids worsted weight yarn (100% Cotton), 120 yards(110 meters) / 71 gr, color Warm Brown – 1.5 ball (MC)

You can use for CC several colors. I used 4. Then you need less yarn for each CC.
Hook: H (5.0 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Gauge: 7 dc = 2” (5 cm)

Short Overview of the Pattern:
The blanket is worked in a 2-color flower pattern. The CC is changed every 3 rows. The yarn is cut after every color change. The blanket is finished with 3 rounds of dc. The blanket is reversible. If you would like to make blanket wider, you have to chain multiple of 11 plus 3.

With MC ch 80.
Row 1: 1 sc into 2nd ch from hook, ch1, skip 1 ch, 1 sc into next ch, (ch 3, skip 3 chs, 1 sc into next ch) twice, *ch 2, skip 2 chs, 1 sc into next ch, (ch 3, skip 3 chs, 1 sc into next ch) twice, repeat from * to last 2 chs, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 sc into last ch. Turn.
Row 2: ch 3 (count as 1 dc), (2dc-cl, ch 2, 2dc-cl) into first ch-1-sp, ch 1, skip 1 sc, 1 sc into next sc, *ch 1, skip ch-3-sp, (2dc-cl, [ch 2, 2dc-cl] three times) into next ch-2-sp, ch 1, skip ch-3-sp, 1 sc into next sc, repeat from * to last 2 sps, ch 1, skip ch-3-sp, (2dc-cl, ch 2, 2dc-cl) into last ch-1-sp, 1 dc into last st. Cut yarn. Turn.
Row 3 with CC: ch 1, 1 sc into first dc, * ch 3, work one 2dc-cl into top of each of next four 2dc-cl, ch 3, 1 sc into next ch-2-sp, repeat from * to end, working last sc into top of ch-3 at beginning of previous row. Turn.
Row 4: ch 1, 1 sc into first sc, * ch 3, 1 sc into top of next 2dc-cl, ch 2, skip two 2dc-cls, 1 sc into top of next 2dc-cl, ch 3, 1 sc into next sc, repeat from * to end. Turn.
Row 5: ch 1, 1 sc into first sc, *ch 1, skip ch-3-sp, (2dc-cl, [ch 2, 2dc-cl] three times) into next ch-2-sp, ch 1, skip ch-3-sp, 1 sc into next sc, repeat from * to end. Cut yarn. Turn.
Row 6 with MC: ch 3, one 2dc-cl into top of next two 2dc-cl, ch 3, 1 sc into next ch-2-sp, ch 3, *one 2dc-cl into top of next four 2dc-cls, ch 3, 1 sc into next ch-2-sp, ch3, repeat from * to last two 2dc-cls, one 2dc-cl into each of last two 2dc-cls, 1 dc into last sc. Turn.
Row 7: ch 1, 1 sc into first dc, ch 1, skip next 2dc-cl, 1 sc into top of next 2dc-cl, ch 3, 1 sc into next sc, ch 3, *1 sc into top of next 2dc-cl, ch 2, skip next two 2dc-cls, 1 sc into top of next 2dc-cl, ch 3, 1 sc into next sc, ch 3, repeat from * to last two 2dc-cl, 1 sc into next 2dc-cl, ch 1, skip next 2dc-cl, 1 sc into top of ch-3 at the beginning of the previous row. Turn.
Repeat rows 2-7 six more times or to desired length.
Finishing
Work 3 rounds of dc around the blanket. At the corners, work 3 dc into the corner st. Work rounds 1 and 3 in MC and round 2 in CC.
Weave in ends. Block.
