I found your pattern for the elf vest and it looks like something I could do (I'm new to knitting) and I'm wondering if you could tell me how many inches or millimetres the vest itself measures (back of the neck to the bottom) and how wide it is? I'm trying to find a vest pattern that will work my for daughter's little hello kitty plush toy. The dress on the kitty is fraying and it is part of the dolls body so i'm trying to come up with a solution where i can knit something and then kind of permanently sew it to the kitty. I have a knitted Barbie vest that would almost work but I can't tell from the description of the 14" doll if this would be just too tiny or not. Thanks! Jill
