I just finished this cape. It is the largest project to date. I'm a novice. My girlfriend taught me to knit after three surgeries the past 30 months and many wks in bed, a godsend. Now for the I cords and complete. I am 5'6" and wanted it longer so I did extend the length. I knitted the collar add on backward but left it, a different twist. Turned out fabulous, surprised myself. Go for it, not as hard as you think.
