my advice for those wanting to enlarge this pattern
find a similar plain pattern in your size. use that as a guide

as for the colours.. here is what I did photocopied the pattern onto graph paper.. each square is a stitch and then coloured it in

I will knit it in one just changing colours as necessary.. it was too nice a jumper to give up on!!!!
